- Nadeem Syed, Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Nadeem has overall responsibility for the company including its strategic direction, growth and financial results.
Nadeem joined Misys in June 2012 as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). He came to Misys from SumTotal, where he most recently served as COO. Nadeem led the company's strategic initiatives overseeing services, support, hosting, product management and engineering since early 2010. Before this, he spent over 19 years in numerous positions at Oracle.
- Simon Paris, President
As President, Simon has responsibility for the entire Misys go-to-market organisation including sales, pre-sales, professional services, partners and marketing. Simon joined Misys in June 2015 and brings more than 15 years’ sales, management and leadership expertise to the company.
Simon came to Misys from SAP where he held a number of senior sales and leadership positions including Global Head of Banking and Global Head of Financial Services. He was then appointed President of Strategic Industries and served most recently as President Industry Cloud with responsibility for driving SAP’s global go-to-market efforts for its applications portfolio across 25 industries and two core lines of business. He was also responsible for driving SAP’s simplification efforts around strategic pricing, solution marketing and solution management; and specific business development / co-innovation.
Simon was formerly a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company.
Simon holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the INSEAD Business School in France and a bachelor’s degree in business & European languages from the European Business School.
- Tom Kilroy, Chief Operations Officer
As Chief Operations Officer, Tom is responsible for delivering support services to our customers worldwide, as well as for growth initiatives including Cloud Enablement, Platform as a Service and corporate development. He also oversees the HR, IS, Legal, Facilities and Procurement functions.
Tom joined Misys in August 2009 as EVP General Counsel and Company Secretary. He has been with the company since that time, with the exception of six months in 2013. He has held various roles at Misys, including as Acting CEO during the period when Misys and Turaz, the Kondor+ business from Thomson Reuters, merged.
Before joining Misys, Tom spent eight years with GE Healthcare, a division of the General Electric Company, ultimately as General Counsel, EMEA, responsible for a business with revenues of more than $5 billion. Tom began his career in the City of London. He is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.
- Rob Binns, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Rob has full responsibility for the finance organisation.
Rob joined Misys in February 2016 and has extensive experience as a senior level finance leader in the software and technology industry. Rob came to Misys from HP Inc where he held a variety of senior roles, including Group Treasurer, HP Inc, and Vice President and CFO, HP Software. Rob originally joined HP in 2007 as Finance Director for HP Software in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. Prior to this, Rob held finance leadership roles in the software industry in the UK and Canada, including tenures at Documentum Software (now owned by EMC Corporation) and Mercury Interactive.
Rob is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. In 2014 and 2015, Rob was ranked by Institutional Investor as a top investor relations (IR) professional in the technology sector.
- Martin Häring, Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Martin is responsible for our global marketing organisation.
Martin joined Misys in October 2013 and brings more than 20 years' technology marketing and executive leadership experience with global market players to the company. Martin came to Misys from Akamai Technologies Inc. where he was the Vice President Marketing and Channels responsible for all marketing functions and channel sales divisions across EMEA.
Prior to this he was the worldwide Marketing Vice President for Oracle's Hardware Line of Business and the EMEA Vice President Marketing and part of the EMEA Executive Board for Sun Microsystems.
- Boris Lipiainen, Global Head of Product Management
As Global Head of Product Management, Boris is responsible for Misys product strategy and product management.
Boris joined Misys in June 2012 when Misys and Turaz, the Kondor+ business from Thomson Reuters, merged. Prior to that Boris ran the R&D function for the Kondor+ business at Thomson Reuters since 2007.
Before joining Thomson Reuters, Boris was an Associate Principal in the McKinsey Business Technology Office in London, where his primary focus was on the banking and securities and software industries. Prior to that, he was a CIO/COO of a Russian bank.
- Robin Crewe, Global Head of Engineering and QA
As Global Head of Engineering and QA, Robin is responsible for development and quality assurance, including the delivery of all new product releases.
Robin joined Misys in May 2010 as Chief Technology Officer. He started his career with Arthur Andersen, working in the financial services practice in South Africa. He moved to Swiss Bank in the UK where he managed the back office and market data systems. He was then promoted to manage all IT infrastructure for Swiss Bank and subsequently transferred to Switzerland as Chief Information Officer Corporate Systems.
Robin moved to Dresdner Kleinwort Benson before co-founding his own company, Propero, which specialised in desktop virtualisation software. When VMWare acquired Propero in 2007, Robin went on to deliver consultancy services to technology companies and banks.
- Andrew Skehel, Global Head of Professional Services
As Global Head of Professional Services, Andrew has responsibility for the global Professional Services field organisation.
Andrew joined Misys in September 2016 and brings more than 30 years’ international IT and services experience to the company. He comes to Misys having worked as a private consultant with two premium UK-based private equity firms. He is also a Non-Executive Director at two smaller UK SaaS businesses and a privately owned UK systems integration business.
Prior to this, Andrew has held roles as Interim Chief Operations Officer at AE Power International, Regional Managing Director at International SOS, Senior Vice President at SAP, and Vice President Northern Europe at SSA Global. Andrew’s career also includes roles with i2 Technologies, PwC, Oracle, Unisys Corporation and the British Forces.
- Grace Van Til, Global Head of PS Delivery and Operations
As Global Head of PS Delivery and Operations, Grace is responsible for the Misys Services Delivery Centre, PS Architects and Misys Architecture & Process Solutions. She is also responsible for the definition and execution of all PS processes.
Grace joined Misys in January 2013 and brings experience in account management, professional services, pre-sales and operations management in a variety of industries - mostly focused on providing service delivery to complex Fortune 1,000 organisations.
Grace came to Misys from SumTotal where she was Vice President of Global Support, responsible for training and product documentation. Prior to this Grace was Director of North American Client Operations at Accero Inc. from 2008 before becoming their Vice President of Global Support in 2011. She has also worked for Hewitt Associates and Deloitte Consulting.
- Balázs Vinnai, General Manager, Digital Channels
As General Manager of Misys Digital Channels, Balázs is responsible for our retail digital channels business.
Balázs Vinnai is known as the CEO of IND Group, a company he established in 1997. IND specialised in the innovation and development of digital banking solutions, grew rapidly to a market leader in the EMEA region and was acquired by Misys in 2014.
Since 2007 Balázs has also held the position of Vice President in the Software Development and Innovation Committee of the ICT Association of Hungary (IVSZ).
- Chris McCloskey, Global Head of Solutions and Field Operations
As Global Head of Solutions and Field Operations, Chris is responsible for demonstrating to customers the value and superiority of our market-leading solutions and driving outstanding execution in our field sales organisation. Chris’ organization includes Global Solution Consulting (pre-sales), Global Solution Leaders for each line of business, the Customer Value Team, Sales Training and Sales Operations & Transformation.
Chris joined Misys in July 2013 and brings more than 15 years’ technology industry expertise to the company. Initially he served as Director of Strategic Programmes, where he led development of the company’s growth strategy, acquisitions and various transformation programmes. Prior to joining Misys, Chris worked for Vista Equity Partners as Director, Strategic Programmes. Previous to this, Chris was a leader in IBM’s strategy practice for seven years, leading growth strategy and sales and marketing transformation initiatives. Early in his career, Chris held a number of roles with General Electric in Corporate Information Systems and GE Healthcare IT.
Chris holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Gettysburg College.
- Ryan Keough, Global Head of Sales
As Global Head of Sales, Ryan is responsible for the global go-to-market strategy, pipeline development and key strategic initiatives that will drive growth for our business across all territories and product lines. Ryan brings over 30 years of sales experience and has wide experience in running software businesses and building high performance sales teams.
Ryan joined Misys in March 2012 and was responsible for the European sales organisation prior to taking on his global role. Ryan joined Misys from SunGard, where he was Managing Director for EMEA for the Trading Segment and ran the sales teams for front and back office trading systems. Prior to SunGard, Ryan was the Head of Americas for GL Trade where he ran all aspects of the business unit and was responsible for building the Latin American business later acquired by SunGard.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. After graduation, Ryan also served as a Captain in the US Army Reserves for 11 years where he held various leadership positions.
- Tom Dawkins, Global Head, Cloud Enablement
As Global Head, Cloud Enablement, Tom is responsible for developing and bringing to market new Software-as-a-Service solutions.
Tom joined Misys June 2012 when Misys and Turaz, the Kondor+ business from Thomson Reuters, merged. Prior to this Tom was based in New York as the Regional Director for North America for Thomson Reuters’ Trade and Risk Management business.
Before joining the Trade and Risk Management business Tom was Director of Corporate Development at Thomson Reuters, responsible for a range of merger and acquisition activities across the wider business.
- Simon Dowler, Group General Counsel and Company Secretary
Simon is responsible for our global legal and commercial organisation as well as Misys Group Company Secretariat.
Simon joined Misys in 2008 and brings extensive experience in dealing with international technology contracts and customers.
Admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, Simon began his career by working for a leading firm of solicitors in the City of London before joining BAE Systems. Prior to joining Misys Simon also held senior positions in some of the largest US and European global information technology companies, including StorageTek, Sun Microsystems/Oracle and SAP.
- Brian Gibson, Vice President - Partners and Ecosystem
As Vice President, Partners and Ecosystem, Brian is responsible for all elements of the development and management of the Misys partner ecosystem strategy globally.
Brian joined Misys in September 2013 from Accenture, where for the previous nine years he was responsible for all alliances aligned to Accenture’s key practice areas. Prior to his role at Accenture he held leadership roles at Siebel Systems, Oracle, Digital and ICL. Brian has worked in the hardware, software and consulting industry for more than 25 years in a variety of sales and partner leadership roles. He has a wide experience of leading partner and ecosystem management teams that are internationally deployed, working within global organisations.
Brian also has served on the Girls Day School Trust Academy Board and held various governor and chair positions within the education sector.
- Charlotte de Metz, Global HR Director
As Global HR Director, Charlotte is responsible for overseeing our people strategy and the transformation activities of our global HR organisation.
Charlotte joined Misys June 2012 when Misys and Turaz, the Kondor+ business from Thomson Reuters, merged. Prior to this Charlotte spent 12 years with Ventyx where she was HR Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the Asia Pacific.
During her time with Ventyx Charlotte was responsible for providing strategic and operational support across all functions in the regions. She also facilitated coaching, led on a number of acquisitions, held responsibility for the recruiting functions and Total Reward including overseeing compensation, benefits and mobility.
